Matisyahu delivers a style of dancehall reggae heavily influenced by hip-hop and rock. Since coming out as a indie hasidic about four years ago with the song King Without a Crown, the spiritual crooner has managed to silence the naysayers that thought he was just another gimmicky Williamsburg act with a Dash Snow beard. Tonight is day 3 of his annual Festival of Lights concert series, that takes place in eight parts, in celebration of Hanukkah. Dub Trio open.
