As usual, Yves Saint Laurent creative director Stefano Pilati is launching a conceptual short film in honour of their new fall winter 09/10 collection. This time, it was Inez & Vinoodh who created the film, which starred actor/musician Michael Pitt.

The short was filmed in black and white, and shows Pitt’s reactions as he listens to a woman outside the frame. It’s interesting: the voice talks about the collection and the garments, while Pitt has fun imagining them.

The film was presented at an exclusive reception at the premiere of men’s fashion week in Paris. You can see it on the brand’s website.
